How this competition works

Generated from the competition's current settings, with any additional guidance supplied by the organiser.

Traditional ladder

Competition format

  • Teams are ordered by ladder position.
  • When a result is confirmed, a winner ranked below its opponent moves up, regardless of who originally arranged the match.
  • The winner moves towards the opponent’s position, climbing at most 8 places; teams in between move down one place.
  • If the higher-ranked team wins, positions stay the same.
  • An active team can challenge another team up to 8 places above it.

Late registration enabled

Registration & teams

  • Registration opens on 12 August 2026.
  • The competition is scheduled to start on 15 August 2026.
  • The competition is scheduled to finish on 13 December 2026.
  • Late registration is enabled, so new teams can join after the competition has started.
  • Each team can include two primary players and one substitute.

7 days to respond

Challenges

  • Teams can challenge up to 8 places above their current ladder position.
  • A pending challenge expires after 7 days if the challenged team does not respond.
  • After playing, the same teams must wait 14 days before challenging each other again.

Match-tiebreak decider

Match format & results

  • Matches are played as the best of three sets.
  • Games use golden-point scoring at deuce.
  • If a deciding set is required, it is played as a match tiebreak.
  • Submitted results affect the standings only after they have been confirmed.
